A Project of Rotary Club of Ballarat
2020 is the year we will all remember, in June this year, the Rotary Club of Ballarat – SpringFest Management Committee made the difficult decision to cancel SpringFest Ballarat (physical event), due to take place at Lake Wendouree in November 2020, in the best interests of public health.
Rotary Club of Ballarat – president Alan Campbell said “The Rotary Club of Ballarat and SpringFest Committee are very disappointed to make this announcement but ensuring the health and safety of the community was paramount.
“The COVID-19 health crisis is unprecedented and the ongoing changes to social distancing measures and mass gathering restrictions being made in the best interest of public health, means that we are unable to plan and deliver the 2020 SpringFest Ballarat Event with any certainty,” he said.
A traditional SpringFest is an iconic Ballarat community event, attracting over 35,000 market-goers, hosting 540 stall holders, with 6 sub-events and over 150 volunteers assisting on the day.
2020 is anything but traditional – therefore, on went our thinking caps and reimagined SpringFest Ballarat.
Rotary Club of Ballarat wanted to continue to showcase our stall holders, stay connected with the community and put a pep in our step over the usual SpringFest time period, which resulted in the move to adapt and launch the 2020 Ultimate SpringFest Online Raffle.
Jules Zass and Tim Bone are back as our ambassadors. 100 prize packs are to be won, with a massive total prize pool of over $18k, giving everyone a chance to have a little bit of SpringFest in their own home.
All prizes have been donated by stall holders and sponsors of SpringFest, which is a wonderful way to stay connected to our supporters and in turn provide them with exposure as we lead up to the raffle draw.
The raffle will be drawn on Sunday November 29th – 2pm LIVE.
How can you help?
There are a limited number of tickets up for grabs…. We want to sell each and every ticket. We are encouraging everyone who would traditionally take a walk around the Lake on Market Sunday to buy a ticket and continue to support SpringFest.

SpringFest looks forward to bringing everyone together when it returns bigger and better in 2021 – Sunday 28th November 2021.
Supporting the community
Every dollar raised from the SpringFest Ballarat is donated back into the local community. The Rotary Club of Ballarat’s purpose in delivering SpringFest Ballarat is to support the many deserving groups in Ballarat who work with volunteers, just like Rotary. Over the past 20 years SpringFest has distributed in excess of $750,000 for the benefit of the community.
