SpringFest Ballarat – A Signature Event on the Ballarat Calendar

SpringFest Ballarat is proudly owned and delivered by the Rotary Club of Ballarat – a member of Rotary International, a global organisation committed to serving communities both locally and abroad. With a membership of around 50 individuals from diverse business and professional backgrounds, the Rotary Club of Ballarat is dedicated to making a meaningful impact.

Promoting Ballarat and enhancing the wellbeing of its community are at the heart of everything the Club does. SpringFest is one of several community-focused initiatives run throughout the year, aimed at bringing people together and raising valuable funds for local causes.

Established in 1925, the Rotary Club of Ballarat has played a significant role in the growth of Rotary across Victoria – helping to establish clubs from Ballan to Bordertown, Mildura to Ballarat South.

The SpringFest Ballarat organising committee is made up of eight Rotary Club of Ballarat members, one external event specialist, and four community partners. This dedicated team meets regularly, with each member responsible for specific areas of planning and delivery, ensuring every detail of SpringFest is thoughtfully managed.

SpringFest Ballarat continues to be a highlight of the region’s event calendar, with previous events attracting more than 35,000 attendees. It’s a celebration of community spirit, local talent, and everything that makes Ballarat special.

SpringFest Ballarat is an event like no other.

Supporting the community

Every dollar raised from the SpringFest Ballarat is donated back into the local community. The Rotary Club of Ballarat’s purpose in delivering SpringFest Ballarat is to support the many deserving groups in Ballarat who work with volunteers, just like Rotary.  Over the past 29 years SpringFest has distributed in excess of $950,000 for the benefit of the community.

In 2025 our community partners and beneficiaries of funds raised are:

     * Ballarat High School
     * CAFS Ballarat
     * Miners Rest Primary School and Kindergarten
     * Phoenix P-12 Community College
     * Community and International Projects of Rotary Club of Ballarat
