SpringFest Ambassadors Tim Bone & Jules Zass

Spring, sprung, SpringFest with the ONLINE Raffle now open!

Our ambassadors Tim Bone & Julia Zass (and their little apprentices) are ready for a bloomin’ good time.

MUCH loved SpringFest Ballarat – Market Sunday, sadly won’t be held in 2021 due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.  With snap lockdowns, social distancing measures and mass gathering restrictions means that we are unable to plan and deliver the 2021 SpringFest Ballarat Event with any certainty.

Springfest Director Robert Glass said “The Rotary Club of Ballarat and SpringFest Committee are very disappointed to make this announcement but ensuring the health and safety of the community was paramount”.

“SpringFest Ballarat in past years has spanned over six kilometres against the serene backdrop of Lake Wendouree,” said Mr Glass.

As an alternative this year, and to continue to be able to raise funds for our community, the “Springfest Online Raffle” has been launched and is now up and running, and we encourage everyone to purchase a ticket – see below for more information.

We thank the community for their support and look forward to bringing everyone together again next year to celebrate SpringFest Ballarat – Market Sunday when it returns bigger and better on Sunday 27th November 2022.

Supporting the community

Every dollar raised from the SpringFest Ballarat is donated back into the local community. The Rotary Club of Ballarat’s purpose in delivering SpringFest Ballarat is to support the many deserving groups in Ballarat who work with volunteers, just like Rotary.  Over the past 20 years SpringFest has distributed in excess of $750,000 for the benefit of the community.

In 2021 our community partners and beneficiaries of funds raised are:

      * Ballarat Chinese Dragon Boat Club
      * Bungaree Primary School
      * Miners Rest Primary School and Kindergarten
      * Mount Egerton Primary School
      * Phoenix P-12 Community College
      * Community and International Projects of Rotary Club of Ballarat
